Insightful Articles
This article on gay marriage (which does not support one view over another, but does make you stop for a second and really think) is one of the most insightful article that I’ve read in a long, long time. Last time I read an article and felt so mentally engaged was when I read John Perry Barlow’s The Economy of Ideas which I first came across about 5 years ago, and was written more than a decade ago. Hmm, maybe I’m turning into a closet libertarian.
Well, the main reason why I’m posting this is because I don’t want to just bookmark it somewhere and lose it along the way… so if I put it here, it’ll be more likely for me to find the link again… and maybe some of you can sit down and read too. ![]()

Toooo looong! I think that would be the reaction of everyone, especially the most powerful…Isn’t it nice to know that our public leaders won’t bother to educate themselves on issues that they decide on because it takes too long?

I haven’t read the whole thing, only skimmed it, because I have too many papers due (and overdue…). But it sounds very similar to the arguments of an economics prof I had last semester for Economic Analysis of Law. Check it out for a Canadian perspective.
