Happy Canada Day!
My last 6 Canada Day Celebration has involved the Solar Car - it’s somewhat odd to feel that the day’s not quite complete without having something so arbitrary around… but I guess that’s just me.
The day was gorgeous and I spent the entire morning hiking the Purisima Creek with some friends. It’s just amazing to see such seemingly pristine and amazingly beautiful outdoors so close to the bustling cities. As I was hiking along the trail, I spent a lot of time looking down at my feet (there were some tricky spots to navigate) but whenever I lifted my head up, I was graced with yet another gorgeous view. Maybe that’s what life is like - focusing too much on the next step makes us lose the sight of amazing world and opportunities all around us. Lots of amazing shots in there, though these two of the redwood family ring are my favourite. (And the butterfly!)
On a side note, my car finally broke the 60,000km mark! Yay!
